About Us
Speedworks Motorsport was founded in 2005 by Christian and Amy Dick, driven by a shared passion for motorsport and a vision to build a race-winning team from the ground up. Based in Cheshire, the team initially competed in club-level racing before quickly progressing through the ranks of British motorsport. Their ambition and commitment to winning led them to the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC), where they have established themselves as a professional front running team. With a relentless drive for success and a deep-rooted engineering expertise, Speedworks Motorsport has grown into a highly respected operation, securing manufacturer backing from Toyota and becoming the official TOYOTA GAZOO Racing UK team.
Over the years, Speedworks Motorsport has celebrated numerous victories and championship successes across multiple disciplines, including the BTCC, British GT Championship, and other high-profile series. Their partnership with Toyota has been a defining milestone, enabling the team to develop and expand, now running four cars in the British Touring Car Championship, alongside other GT programmes. Notable achievements including 17 race wins and many podium finishes, consistently challenging for on-track success. Beyond their on-track success, Speedworks has built a reputation for developing top-tier driving talent and fostering strong commercial partnerships, solidifying their position as one of the UK’s premier racing outfits.
